A priority action is an action from an examining attorney which sets forth specific requirements that must be met before an application can be approved for publication. The applicant has 6 months to respond starting from the date the priority action is mailed or the application will be abandoned. The application will be given priority in processing the response if the priority action is responded to within two months.
