A patent applicant must furnish a drawing of the invention whenever a drawing is needed to understand the invention. Every invention feature, as specified in the claim, must be shown in the drawing(s). Omission of drawings may cause an application to be deemed incomplete, but are only required, if without the drawings, it would not be possible to understand the subject matter sought to be patented.
