USPTO: First-Inventor-to-File Roundtable
Even though Pres. Barack Obama signed “The American Invents Act“(AIA) back in September of 2011 the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is now charged with implementing the changes enacted by the law. In order to do that the United States Patent and Trademark office is conducting “roundtables” which include anyone who wants to participate to determine the best way to implement the law.
And now the USPTO announced a First-Inventor-to-File Roundtable to be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm (EDT) at the USPTO Alexandria campus in the Madison Auditorium.

The USPTO is soliciting public input about its proposed rules and proposed examination guidelines implementing the first-inventor-to-file provision. Information about the Roundtable and how to submit written comments are available at the Federal Register links below:
