Niagara’s Daredevil Chocolates files a trademark application
Buffalo patent and trademark Attorney, Vincent G. LoTempio’s trademark client, Mary Ann Hess of Niagara’s Honeymoon Chocolates has filed a trademark application for a new line of chocolates to pay tribute to the Niagara Falls daredevils of the past and present, while benefiting local charities and organizations. Niagara’s Daredevil chocolates features an imprint of a tight rope walker in honor of the most recent daredevil Nik Wallenda, whose tight rope walk across the falls has garnered international attention. The event will take place on June 15, 2012 when Wallenda will walk across the Niagara Falls.
The candy bars will be sold for $10 each, with $1 of the proceeds going to Niagara Lion’s Club.
The charitable chocolates will go on sale June 14 on Old Falls Street, where vendors will be gathered the days before and after the walk, until June 17. The chocolate bars can also be purchased at the Oakwood Cemetery, 763 Portage Road; the Town of Niagara Lion’s Club, 8108 E Britton Drive, and Heart, Love and Soul Food Pantry, 939 Ontario Ave. The bars can also be purchased on Hess’ at niagarashoneymoonsweets.com.
